W
-A Reference Guide-
W: 1. Double u / double you. The 23rd letter in the English Alphabet. Too much of a you. The you you are to yourself and the you you are to me. One you too many.
2. Double Yu: That’s me. And me again. The one you love versus the one who loves you.
3. A beak facing down. Something naughty. A representation of the many ups and downs you need to go through to end up right where you started.
W/: With. A confusing state.
W/O: Without. An even more confusing state.
Wait: Short for waste.
Wannabe: A rabbit playing tennis using a broomstick as a racket.
Waste: To wait by a dustbin.
We: The only living being capable of walking in two opposite directions at the same time. Also aporia.
Weed: The soft bed where apricots fall.
What / where / when / who(m): Different interjections used to express surprise or a baffled ignorance.
Will Power: Australian race car driver (b. 1981).
Win-win: A situation where somebody else loses twice. Make sure it’s not you.
Wings: An excuse for birds to look down on humans.
Wishing well: A hole where wishes rot. A dangerous place to throw your coins into. The sort of thing you do when there’s nothing left to wish.
Woman: Not a bird, definitely.
Wonder child: See Wunderkind.
Woo: To wait on your wishes while holding back the rabbit with the broomstick. Also to play blind tennis.
Words: Those treacherous bitches.
Work: A jealous lover. A zealous cover.
Wunderkind: You as a child, when summers were brighter. And longer. Try and remember.
Wunderlust: A wish not to be here. (Not to be confused with weed or woman.)

Much obliged to Maru, everyone at Lovemonk & Bonatarda, Javier Jiménez, Jesús Montes, Juan Diego Gosálvez, Iván Domínguez and my patient family.
